MYLENE CULBREATH, PHD
Mylene Culbreath is a graduate of the University of Georgia's nationally acclaimed PhD program in Workforce Education, with an emphasis in Training & Development. She has over 10 years of experience integrating career counseling, talent development, and workplace transition in higher education, community-based, and private organizations. Her work critically considers the role of identity formation in the career development process.
Dr. Culbreath holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree in Counselor Education from Old Dominion University. Mylene is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Qualitative Researcher. Dr. Culbreath has authored journal publications, presented at national conferences, and developed countless career-related programs for local, state, and government agencies. Mylene's commitment to career counseling and workforce development is motivated by a desire to equip individuals with the necessary skills to navigate workplace transition with accurate knowledge, insight, and preparation. Dr. Culbreath ascribes to a constructivist school of thought and believes each person has the power to construct their own careers, they just need access to the proper tools.
